Potty adventures

Well today was a momentous day. Little miss Jasmine went potty all by herself . She removed her diaper and sat on the potty and had a pee. We had placed the potty in the bathroom and never really made any big deal out of it letting her sit on it when we sat on ours and this morning she peed without us sitting her there. probably a one time thing but boy did we clap for her.

Today is a momentous day in the adoption of Jasmine. Today I am Jasmine's Mommy one day longer than I was not her Mommy in her short life. I day longer has she had a home with me than she had at the orphanage. I am truly feeling blessed today. What was life really like before she was with me. Was the sky so blue? Did the birds sing such a beautiful song ? Maybe but it sure sounds and looks better seen through the eyes of my daughter.
